Collaborating with Shakespeare
Shakespeare
Priya
“All the world’s
a stage,
And all the
men and women
merely players;
They have their
exits and their
entrances;
And one man
in his time
plays many parts,”
I agree! Today, the stage
is set for me
In this sea
of humanity,
Full of pain
and beauty.
My name is
Priya.
“What is in a name?
That which we call
a rose by any other name
would smell as sweet,”
A name is a beginning,
A destiny unfolding,
A soul transforming,
And my journey
has begun.
Life for me is
A rainbow
of joy and pain,
What is life
for you?
“Life’s but a
walking shadow,
a poor player
That struts and
frets his hour
upon the stage
And then is
heard no more.”
True! But it’s this
that gives
life beauty.
The flaws!
The unpredictability!
Like a candle
burning bright,
Still remembered
when gone,
A Light merging
with Endless Light.
Anyway, do you
have
a final advice?
“Love all, trust a few
Do wrong to none
This above all:
to thine own self be true,
And it must follow,
as the night the day,
Thou canst not then
be false to any man.
Farewell: my blessing
season this in thee!”
Author’s Note: Shakespeare’s lines are taken from his plays like Macbeth, All’s Well That Ends Well, Hamlet, As You Like It, and Romeo and Juliet. This piece required a lot of creativity and brainstorming. If you liked it, consider buying me a coffee. It would genuinely mean a lot!

It’s curious how these words, centuries later, can still enter a life they could never have known. I especially like the dialogue between your voice and Shakespeare’s: it doesn’t feel like quoting the past, but like a conversation that is still open.
Wonderful Reading
It's very unique, I could not imagine such amazing collaboration with Shakespeare
